Week 1: One Room Challenge

Exciting news! For the first time, I am participating in One Room Challenge. Usually, it is an 8 week challenge to finish a design project on one room. This spring though, in light of uncertainty in the interiors industry, mini-projects are welcomed. I decided it would be the perfect excuse to tackle my to-do list which is FULL of mini-projects. Hopefully, in eight weeks, the whole home spring-refresh will give me a boost to start sharing more of my own space. Sometimes my home feels like the old saying "the cobbler's children have no shoes" and I am ready for a change! Please follow along as I share the design process of my own home!
I'm starting with a checklist of all the projects I'd like to complete. These include:
- Bed canopy
- Ceiling fan installed
- Paint window trim and shutters
- New toilet
- Tub trim
- Wall paper office ceiling
- Paint guest bedroom
- New carport cabana drapes
- New patio umbrella
- Eventually paint exterior (chose color and get estimates)
- Pea gravel path and patio
